Blessing in disguise
I’ve been battling stomach problems my whole life. No doctor could give me any solid answer. Three weeks ago I woke up in the middle of the night with a horrible stabbing pain under my right rib. Something new I thought. The next day at work my doctor sent me to the ER thinking I had gallstones. Tests were negative. I went for one more test that week, a HIDA scan, and found out my gallbladder only works 21% of what it’s supposed to.
And a week and a few days, out it came.
Now with no gallbladder I am forced, by my digestive track, to eat a very low fat diet.
So far I’m down 8lbs! Huzzah! Now, this is not exactly how I wanted to loose weight by barely being able to eat, but the forced low fat diet is a good thing.
I am a lover of all things fatty especially bacon and cheese. There will no none of that with our severe repercussions.
Clean eating it is for me now. Chicken, fruit, vegetables, whole grains, green tea, beer. There will always be beer.
